Education

University of Richmond School of Law

A consumer litigator who brings a decade of federal court experience to the fight for consumers.

Patrick represents consumers in individual and class action cases under state and federal consumer protection laws. He has seen these cases from every side. He has worked in chambers, for large firms, and handled high-stakes commercial disputes. He now uses that experience to get results for the consumers he represents.

Patrick clerked twice for the Honorable David J. Novak of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. While clerking, he gained valuable insight into how cases are settled and decided by the magistrate and district judges.

Before joining Kelly Guzzo, PLC, Patrick litigated at two international law firms, where he represented both large corporations and individuals in complex litigation. He was also recognized as a Pro Bono All-Star for his work for clients who could not afford representation.

Before law school, Patrick taught middle school in Chesterfield County for seven years. That experience gave him a lasting commitment to explaining complicated things clearly, and to the people he serves. He graduated with honors from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he was Articles Editor of the University of Richmond Law Review.

Patrick lives in Richmond and spends his time outside of work with his wife and three kids.
